The almond granita
The almond granita is a real cold spoon dessert typical of our land.
Mainly consumed for breakfast in the summer season, it can be considered a real meal. Many have dinner or lunch with granita just to make up for the hot Sicilian days, accompanied by a brioche or a braid.
The granita has Arab origins because during their domination in Sicily they brought the recipe of the "sherbet", commonly fruit-flavored ice grenadine. Over the years, Sicilian art has transformed the "sherbet" into a real typical Sicilian dessert.
Our almond granita is made according to our jealously guarded recipe and we select the raw materials using certified and calibrated Sicilian almonds and used in purity without adding syrups or additives.
